WELCOME TO
ISD FORWARD
ISD Forward is the umbrella initiative that brings together Annual Giving, strategic partnerships, community initiatives, and future-focused projects at the International School of Düsseldorf.
As a non-profit school, every euro is reinvested directly into the student experience. While tuition covers daily operations, transformational projects depend on the additional philanthropic funding.
Through ISD Forward, we invest in initiatives that enhance learning, wellbeing, and opportunity across the school - from improved facilities to future-focused learning environments.
Every contribution matters.
When our community comes together, even modest contributions create meaningful impact.
Together, we move ISD forward.
ANNUAL GIVING: FLEXIBLE SUPPORT, MEANINGFUL IMPACT
Annual Giving allows ISD to invest where support is needed most.
Rather than funding one specific project, these contributions provide the flexibility to respond to emerging opportunities, launch new initiatives, and make meaningful improvements throughout the year.
Recent examples include the bike repair station, touch-free water refill stations, virtual reality learning equipment, and seed funding for both the Elementary School Library and Senior School Outdoor Area projects.
Just as importantly, Annual Giving is something everyone can participate in. While major gifts can accelerate a project, smaller contributions add up over time and, when combined across our community, can have a significant impact.
It is one of the most important ways our community invests in the future of the school.
Our Annual Giving goal is €200,000.00. So far this year we've raised €3,550.63
Annual Giving gives ISD the flexibility to invest where it matters most. Every contribution is student-centred and invested directly back into our school, supporting projects, programmes and facilities as needs and opportunities arise and helping us continually enhance the experience of our students.
We invite you to support Annual Giving in the way that works best for you, whether through a monthly contribution or an annual gift. Every donation, regardless of size, helps us move ISD Forward.
As a recognised non-profit organisation, ISD can issue an official donation receipt (Spendenbescheinigung) for eligible donations. Under German tax law, qualifying donations can generally be deducted as special expenses up to 20% of the total amount of your income (Gesamtbetrag der Einkünfte).
Give monthly. Give annually. Every contribution makes a difference.
