What Our Community Has Already Made Possible
Four years of giving at ISD
When our community gives to ISD, the results can be seen and experienced across our school.
Over the past four years, Annual Giving, Capital Campaigns and other fundraising efforts have helped bring projects of all sizes to life, from specialist equipment and student initiatives to major improvements across our campuses.
As we move forward with ISDForward, we wanted to look back at just some of what our community has already achieved together.
Where it started
Annual Giving has always been about creating opportunities beyond the school's regular operating budget and responding to ideas from across our community.
Earlier projects included VR glasses, specialist science equipment, special musical instruments and a fully functioning FarmBot, alongside many other student and teacher-led initiatives.
These projects showed what Annual Giving could do: take a great idea and help make it happen.
Growing our impact
Over the past few years, the range and scale of projects supported through giving has continued to grow.
Our community has helped make possible financial assistance for students participating in special events, biodiversity and green initiatives, a volleyball serving machine and bike repair station, theatre equipment upgrades, sewing machines for Friends of the Arts, the Elementary School Library circulation desk and support for TEDx – and much more.
Transforming our spaces
Some of our most visible fundraising achievements have transformed the spaces our students use every day.
The Senior School Science Suite renovation was made possible through a dedicated Capital Campaign, while fundraising has also supported the new Elementary School Playground and subsequent additions, including the zip line and swings.
Most recently
Our latest projects have brought further improvements across the school, including filtered, no-touch water fountains across campus, continued improvements to our outdoor spaces and other projects that students can see and use as part of their everyday ISD experience.
From a piece of specialist equipment to an entirely new learning or play space, these projects show just how many different forms giving at ISD can take.
And there is much more to come
ISDForward builds on everything our community has already made possible and creates new opportunities for families, alumni, partners and friends of ISD to be part of what comes next.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed along the way.
Together, we move ISD Forward.
