What a wonderful way to start the school year!

Our Welcome Picnic is all about bringing our community together, and this year we were especially grateful to have members of our wider community help make the afternoon possible.

We are also incredibly grateful to Bageldorf and Kikkoman for their generous sponsorship, to Takumi for bringing a taste of Düsseldorf to our Welcome Picnic, and to Engel & Völkers for the fantastic photo booth and their continued partnership with ISD.

Their generosity is part of a new approach we are introducing for our community events: where possible, individual activities and costs can be supported through donations and partnerships, allowing more of the funds raised through our events to benefit ISD Forward.

There are many ways to support ISD Forward. You can contribute towards a specific project or cost that is meaningful to you, or make a general donation through Annual Giving.

Every contribution, large or small, helps ISD move more quickly on projects and opportunities that enhance the experience of our students and community.

And a useful reminder: donations to ISD are tax-deductible in Germany. As a recognised non-profit organisation, ISD can issue donation receipts (Spendenbescheinigungen). Under German tax law, qualifying donations can generally be claimed as special expenses up to 20% of the total amount of your income.
