A New Chapter: Reimagining the ISD Elementary School Library

For more than 20 years, the ISD Elementary School Library has been a place of learning, discovery, and imagination. Now, it is time for the next chapter.

One of the reasons families choose ISD is our commitment to creating exceptional learning environments. We want our library to reflect the future of learning: a space that inspires reading, research, creativity, collaboration, and inquiry.

Our vision includes expanding the library onto the rear terrace to create a unique indoor-outdoor learning environment, redesigning the interior, and integrating new technology and resources that support modern learning.

The project has already been kickstarted through ISD Forward Annual Giving, which funded a new circulation desk and allowed planning to begin. We are currently working with architects and design professionals and look forward to sharing concepts and renderings soon.

To realise this €300,000 transformation, we are inviting families to play a key role in shaping this space and creating a lasting legacy for future generations of ISD students.
